WE’ve already tried to make cars that use water as fuels. We like using hydrogen fuel because it burns well and gives off lots of energy. Water won’t burn. We need to do special science ti split the water using special tricks called electrolysis. We have hovercrafts already- they are awesome. They work on land and air. They work by pushing air at high pressure on to the ground or water , pushing the craft up into the air. We try hard to minimise any loses of energy of the hovercraft!

Yes – there are a small number of cars that you can drive on a road then plunge into water and transform into a boat. They are known as amphibious vehicles.
