      Hey G-

I’ve never really considered this, but my brother told me about it ages ago- putting a patient ‘on hold’ whilst surgery happens, taking the patient’s blood out, keeping it cool and fixing injuries. It seems to be quite weird american research, and I wouldn’t really sign up for the trial. The blood loses oxygen for 4-5 minutes, which could cause huge amounts of brain damage that you wouldn’t know about until we woke up.
