My biggest break through for science was getting some special little molecules to print in a really beautiful pattern and make an electronic device. The pattern was basically like needles of molecules, where all of the molecules were arranged in one direction. I made sure they all had the correct direction by shining lasers at them and checking which way they were facing. Then I tested how quickly electronic charges could move down the little needles. Becuase I’d got them facing such a good direction, the charges ccould move very easily. No we’re able to make really good molecular devices using our printing technique which no one else can make in the world. It will make charges move more easily in solar panels and in light emitting diodes.

PS. I agree, guinea pigs are cute!
