Question: who is your role model

Definitely my mother. She is a psychiatrist, so she is a medical doctor who helps people who aren’t very happy or have mental problems. My dad is a neurologist, so he is a brain doctor! My mum was also a scientist, and has a PhD in medical research. She has written lots of science books and science stories for newspapers. As long as I stay in science, I will never be able to write as many as her! She has also had her own research team and her own students, as well as teaching at university. Now I try and make her happy all the time- cook her favourite food, take her on holiday- but I’ll never repay her for how much she has inspired me.
