Hi 34curc25 its a bit of both. I do a STEM roadshow round local primary and secondary schools to show the kids how exciting science can be. I think its best if people can experience ( see ,touch ,smell and even taste) an experiment as it makes it more real than just talking about it. So I have a small amount of equipment that I bring round with me. I dont have very much as they can be expensive and my department does not have a large budget for this. So I beg borrow but never steal bits from here and there to make my road show more intersting. So it is because its expensive but also cause I do love what I do and want to do it better 🙂
