        Two atoms are walking along. One of them says:
        “Oh, no, I think I lost an electron.”
        “Are you sure?”
        “Yes, I’m positive.”

        This joke is funny because if you lose an electron you become positively charged. Electrons (charge carriers in wires) are negatively charged, so losing one leaves you positively charged. It’s a bad joke because you always have to explain it- unless you are only in a room of scientists!
